The Cincinnati Marshall Club has its own “Tailgate” spot this year. It is a great spot located just across 20^th Street from the main tailgating lot.

The Club is providing food and drink (while it lasts). This week we are asking for everyone to bring something and also make a donation to cover the Club’s expenses.

Plan on celebrating with the Club, before and after our victory!

We want to make this a Game Day tradition for all the Cincinnati Area Thundering Herd Fans. Come by and show your support for the Club!

NIGHT AT THE NET WAS GREAT!!!

Besides seeing Roger Federer (the #1 ranked tennis player in the World) play, we were a part of very nice cocktail reception at the Grandstand Tent. Marshall came in number 3 with 47 alumni in attendance. I believe Miami of Ohio had the most attending with 60. There were 475 total alums from 17 institutions in attendance.

This was the first year of College Alumni Night at the Net. Next year they are projecting 800 attendees. Lets win the most in attendance award next year.

Aug. 1st General Membership Meeting

We had a good General Membership Meeting on Aug. 1st. There were about 30 in attendance. The Big Green was present and presented the Club with our own "Greater Cincinnati Big Green Club" banner.

We decided to focus our attention on the following committees:

Local Student Recruiting - Mike Chandler, Chairman mike.chandler@fuse.net

MU vs UC Tailgate - Rex Johnson, Chairman rexbroker@yahoo.com

Women's Committee - Rebekah Allen, Chairman rebekahhallen@gmail.com (Contact Rebekah and help the ladies come up with some fun/interesting non-sports related events.)

We need help with these committees. Please decide which ones you want to get involved with and contact the chairpersons. (We are hoping to get the General Membership Committee off the ground in the near future.)
